CRIPPSMAS PLACE
After a full weekend of Christmas parties and birthday parties, we ended it with a nice stroll around Crippsmas Place in Fremont. If you've never been, it's a neighborhood full of larger than life cartoon displays and Christmas lights. It was a great atmosphere with plenty of families walking along the streets and Christmas music everywhere. It definitely got us in the Christmas spirit.More on the history of Crippsmas Place. It's a great feeling to know that we're starting new traditions as a family that we'll be sharing with our kids for years to come.A Charlie Brown Christmas. One of my favorite displays (minus the scary man in the window. Ghost?).The Reason for the Season.Liam was in awe of all the lights and cartoon characters. There was plenty of pointing and "Oooohing" going on. I loved to just watch his face and reactions to everything. We were pleasantly surprised to have a visit from Santa. I can only imagine what Liam is thinking. "Okay, I've seen this big fluffy man dressed in white and red like 3 times in the last week. Every time I see him, Mom tries to put me on his lap and Dad takes a picture, and then we leave. What gives?"Liam recognized his pal Mickey. Only 10 days till Christmas! I wish I could freeze these moments in time.Never ever grow up!- Dru
