Last Spring, on a drive up to Lake Tahoe, while driving through the mountains, gazing through the woods that lined Interstate 80, I got to thinking about Peter Pan's Lost Boys. I imagined a pack of boys surviving in the wilderness, in the snow, hunting and playing and ultimately never growing up. The visuals were so vivid in my mind, and thus, inspiration for a new work of art was born.I'm incredibly excited for this Lost Boys series. The story of Peter Pan and his Lost Boys perfectly epitomizes what FATKID is all about. My first Lost Boy...Tootles. 12" x 9". Charcoal, graphite, acrylic on paper.
