EVERYTHING MATTERS
2 games I've watched at home, alone with my 19 month old son, until my wife comes home from a long day at work. 2 games the Warriors have won.2 games I've watched in the company of family and friends. A room full of loud, proud Warrior fans. 2 games the Warriors have lost.I've been taught since a young age that when it comes to sports, everything matters. From the position you're sitting in, to what you're drinking, to who you're watching with and what you're wearing. So come Sunday, it sounds simple. Watch at home, Warriors win. But as Steve Kerr has taught us, every game in a 7 game series is different. You do something positive one game, you can't expect it to carryover to the next game. It's more about feel. You got to feel your way through it. I woke up Yesterday and I felt home was where I needed to be. Turns out I was right, but I just as easily could have been wrong. So on Sunday I guess I'll have a decision to make. Do I watch at home, in the dark, alone with my wife and son, us against the world, on a somewhat small, somewhat blurry TV? Or do we watch with friends, in a raucous atmosphere, with drinks and food aplenty, on a 70" HD flatscreen? As a Warrior fan, I know I'll make the right decision. I just hope you do too, because as we all know, everything matters. On another note:Everyone thought Klay Thompson was telling the Cleveland crowd to be quiet as the Warriors win was no longer in doubt.Nope.He was actually telling all of DubNation to be quiet. Don't say anything. Just stop talking. After the Game 1 win and after news broke of Kyrie Irving's broken kneecap, I couldn't believe all the talk of a Warriors sweep. Not just from talking heads, but from actual Warrior fans! I think the entire world must have forgotten that LeBron James still wore a Cavaliers jersey. I could play for the Cavs with James on the floor and score 10 points a game! So please, take Klay's advice and just be quiet. As my Clipper fan friend Rodney would say, let's get back to our self deprecating selves and hope for the best, expect the worst. Yes, We Believe, but for now, let's just keep that to ourselves. And if Klay's actions weren't enough for you, take it from Joey Crawford.Everyone thought he was telling Timofey Mozgov to "SHUT UP!!!!"Nope. He was talking to us Warriors fans. For now, just SHUT UP! Don't even think it, because, like I said, everything matters - even our thoughts.Until Sunday.- FATKID
