WINTER IS HERE
[Spoiler Alert: If you're not caught up with Game of Thrones, you should probably get caught up and then come back to read this post... and if you don't watch Game of Thrones then this post will make no sense what so ever.]Just like in Westeros, we've known Winter was coming for what seems like years now. As Warrior fans, we've hoped that this magical season was culminating in nothing less than a trip to the NBA Finals. Well, it's finally here, and the Cleveland Cavaliers and King James were coming. 7 days we had to wait since the Warriors wrapped up the Western Conference Finals and here the Cavs were. Winter was finally here. And the Cavs came in like a herd of White Walkers with their Army of the Dead flanking them at every turn. They gobbled up rebounds like White Walker Zombies gobbled up Wildlings. The storm hit and our Warriors looked... well, they had that Jon Snow "Oh shit" look on their faces.Things looked bleak... but just like that, with one swing of Valyrian Steel into the midsection of the mighty White Walker Commander, we realized the Cavs could be stopped. It's called a box out. They stopped getting rebounds. The Warriors remembered how to play basketball, and the rest is history. We narrowly escaped Game 1 with an amazing win. Slowly floating away from a beach full of death and despair that easily could've been a Game 1 loss. Now it's time to get back to The Wall and regroup. The King is pissed and he's coming for us. Can he raise Kyrie from the dead to lead a ferocious attack? I'm not sure. All I know is we better get a shitload of Valyrian Steel ready for Game 2.Never ever grow up!- Dru
