BIRTHDAY BOY
2 years ago today, at 10:10 in the morning, William Atticus Dequinia Ghiringhelli was born. So let's celebrate by taking a look back on this past Halloween weekend. Did you know that they have Trick or Treating at the Fremont Hub? They do! We found this out by chance after a birthday lunch at Elephant Bar for Liam's uncle Jordan.
We kept the Star Wars Halloween theme going from last year... at least during the day.
By night Liam turned into a Purple Minion. By the way, face paint and snot do not mix well together.
Jenna and I looked back at pictures at the end of the night and could not stop laughing at how badly we failed at costumes this year. Poor Liam took the brunt of our failure. He looks like a hobo from the future.
He looks like a homeless street performer... He looks like he pops n locks for coins...
Just in case your DIY costume fails (We couldn't afford real overalls? How about black gloves? a mask?), have a back up plan. At least people stopped throwing quarters at him and offering him warm soup after we put on this beanie.
In other failure news, I believe my costume is a dress made for a 12 year old girl.
Finally some good news, Liam learned to say "Trick or Treat" and was happy to say it with each open door.

From Liam's perspective, the night must have been a whirlwind. All these familiar faces in unfamiliar costumes, including himself. Then receiving all this candy for simply knocking on the door. He must be wondering why we don't do this every night.
His proud Mommy sifting through which of his candy she's going to steal. Like a good Mom, Jenna bought some "healthy" candy for the babies: yogurt cookies and organic gummies. They were both actually really good and the kids loved them and didn't know the difference from the real candy.
Momo had a great time too. Look a little closer and you'll see it's a good Halloween when you have lollipops stuck to your dress. Happy Halloween and Happy Birthday Liam!Never ever grow up!- FATKID
