TURNING 2
I got to Lake Elizabeth at 5am to make sure I reserved our picnic area before anyone else. Note to self: When it's November, you do not need to get to Lake Elizabeth at 5am to reserve your picnic area. No one wants to have a picnic at Lake Elizabeth in November. That being said, we were blessed with great weather before all the rain came on Sunday. We would like to thank everyone that took time out of their busy weekend to come celebrate Liam's 2nd birthday with us. We had a great time and loved seeing all our friends and family.Liam would like to thank all the Geese for their contributions as well.I don't know if it was all the fun and running around that knocked him out, or if it was the hour long tantrums every 2 hours the night before. Either way, I was very thankful for this nap.Leading up to his birthday we would ask Liam, "What do you want for your birthday?"And every time, without fail, he would answer, "cake!"Lucky boy, he had 1 cake for every letter in his name, plus homemade cupcakes from his Mom, topped with Rainbow Chip frosting!I'm not going to show him not blowing out his candles, because in all fairness, he blew them out each time we practiced leading up to his party. Plus he just woke up from his nap, so I'm giving him a pass on this one.Nana feeding Liam some delicious Guava cake. Thanks Ninang Lynda for the cakes!I didn't take nearly enough pictures on this day, but we'll end with this wonderful picture with his Great Grandma as the sun is setting on year number 2. Happy birthday buddy. I'm so happy to see how much love surrounds you and it's been a pure joy watching you grow up. Now wipe that snot off yo face!Never ever grow up!- FATKID
