A funny thing happened to Edward when he was swallowed by a Great White Shark… You see, by the time Edward noticed the glorious beast out of the corner of his eye, it was too late. Edward only had time to close his eyes and brace himself for the pain he was about to endure. Only, the pain never came. Edward opened his eyes only to reveal more darkness. What he couldn’t see, he could hear and smell. Oh the smell! It was a horrendous odor that could only be described as death and decay. However, what he could hear was the crashing of waves and seagulls, albeit muffled and in the distance. What Edward then realized was that he was indeed swallowed whole and was now stuck in the belly of the beast. So Edward did what anyone would do in that situation — he clawed himself out from the inside, inch by inch, piece by piece. Bare hands, fingernails, teeth, whatever he could use to shred and tear that shark flesh, he used. And finally, roughly 12 hours later, Edward was free… And as it turned out, a funny thing happened to the Great White Shark when it swallowed Edward.
